
The new co-head of DC Studios, James Gunn, recently confirmed plans to integrate games into the DC Universe. If nothing else, a new Injustice or Mortal Kombat game is long overdue. So, the gist is NRS probably isn't going to be at The Game Awards but we can expect some form of announcement soon.

At the same time, Ed Boon clarified NRS is focused on celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat.

Having said that, the next Mortal Kombat game was hinted at earlier this year by the voice actor of Johnny Cage. Hopefully, we'll see the next Mortal Kombat game sooner rather than later. After all, NetherRealm Studios revealed Mortal Kombat 11 at The Game Awards in 2018 and it was out by April of the next year. Still, both titles are scheduled to come out by 2023, so it stands to reason that we should've heard about them by now.

The same goes for the PC port of Ghost of Tsushima. For example, the PC port of Returnal hasn't been confirmed yet although it's only a matter of time before it's out. However, we know by now that, while the info contained in the leak is legit, studios often shuffle the release dates around. Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat 12 supposedly has an April 3 launch date. Specifically, the leak suggests Injustice 3: Gods Will Fall will be out by January 3. Despite the controversy surrounding his case, Bruno Richard Hauptmann's last words stand as a testament to his steadfast belief in his own innocence and his refusal to confess to a crime he claimed he did not commit.According to the now-infamous Nvidia GeForce Now leak, NRS should've let us know about the new Mortal Kombat and Injustice games by now. The case has been the subject of numerous books and articles, and it continues to be debated by historians and legal experts.
